Top 4 Winona Ryder's roles!

People recalled Winona Ryder because of a huge role in one of the best TV shows of 2016 - Stranger Things. Her totally convincing Joyce Byers enchanted everybody so she was nominated to Golden Globes and to Saturns. However, I'm not going to talk about this very role as the fact that in my opinion, there are four better performancer of her. Let's get a look!
#4 Edward Scissorhands - Tim Burton (1990)
I felt really old when I realized that this movie is 27 years old. Created by Tim Burton in his best years of career and written by Caroline Thompson movie is still one of the favourite movies for a lot of people who love fabulous story of boy with scissor instead of hands who meets a lot of people and finally falls in love with Kim Boggs played by Ryder herself.
I appraciate this perfmance. However, falling in love wtih Johnny Depp is not very defficult but Winona put a lot of sensitivity and romance in this creation.
#3 Black Swan - Darren Aronofsky (20110)
Black Swan is one of my favourite movies as I like stories that confuse reality and dream. But I'm not going to talk a lot about this picture. Winona doesn't show in this movie for a long time but it's enough to take 3rd place in this range. She plays old as for a bellet dancer Beth Macyntire who unfortunatelly has to retire and give her place to young and talented Nina. Desperation in her voice and moves is very convincig. We don't like her but we sympathize her.
#2 Beetlejuice - Tim Burton (1988)
Another Burton's movie in this list. This very movie opened the door of career for Burton and of course for Ryder who played Lydia Deetz - a lost young girl who sees ghosts in her house. She has a lot of existentials problems that suddenly became more spooky ans weird as she meets Beetlejuice.
Not everybody like the style of Burton but if you're fan of creepy but moving stories you should watch it. And of course the creation of Lydia played by Winona is still one of my favourite movie performances.
#1 Girl, Interrupted - James Mangold (1999)
This movie is epic and it's obligatory for every movie-fan. It touches so many aspects of life, so many problems in kind a difficult way but still beautifully and moving. It wouldn't be such a masterpiece without actrsses that participate in this production. Two main stars are Angelina Jolie and Winona of course who played the main character - Susanna Kaysen, girl with a past that gets to mental hospital. There, she meets Lisa Rowe (Jolie) who change her life. This movie is very touching and role of Winona is mature and convincing. Must-see.
